Hi, my name is Jason Luhrs, and I am the Business Owner of JL Quality Homes.
I started in the building industry at the age of 15 with my own part time business supplying local Builders and colonial companies with handmade timber verandah brackets. The business ran successfully for five years before selling the business to concentrate my time on my Carpentry Apprenticeship.
After graduating high school in 1996, I began my Carpentry Apprenticeship with a reputable Builder based in Brisbane. For four years I worked in the areas of Chelmer, Sherwood, Corinda and other surrounding suburbs, working on detailed renovations and extensions. After completing my apprenticeship I remained with my employer for another two years gaining supervisory experience and honing my skills. I used this time also to study and gain my Residential Building License.
In 2004, I began to work in the new home side of the industry, gaining an insite to different techniques and modern products used compared to the older renovations. I worked for numerous Builders on a wide variety of new projects.
In 2008, I started JL Quality Homes. Over the past few years we have been involved in many projects, from small one bedroom extensions to large home lifts and build-in style renovations.
